I am Linda and my husband is called "Del". We've lived in Ocilla, Georgia for the past 19 years. I have always wanted to have a haunted house, especially since we have the property to set one up. A friend of ours, Oliver Emmitt Smith, had a haunted house that Del & I helped him with, and when he moved away he donated all of his props to us. Hence the web site address, OliversFrightShack.com.

We have been adding to them every year since 2001. 2010 will be our 9th year and our last.  It will be huge, for we plan to go out with a bang.

We are into the scare tactics rather than the gory things. We also have a lot of great volunteers that we call "our actors" and without them we would not be able to put this on each year. If you are interested in helping, go to our volunteer page for details. We have a planning meeting and a cookout the first Saturday in August . We love to have new people, as well as our loyal actors, to help every year.

We charge $5.00 entry to help defray the costs of the materials and props that we have purchased.

We build a fire when it is cold that you are welcome to come out and sit by if you don't want to go in, while others in your party does. We sit around after we scare the last customer and enjoy going over the nights thrills. We want to thank Enviro-log for donating logs to us for our fireplaces in 2007.
