- How much do you charge?
$5.00 entry
No refunds once you start on your "journey". -
I have a child under 10. Are they allowed in?
Yes, but we don't recommend the haunted house for small children.
We have a concession stand that is manned and will be glad to watch
the little ones while you go through. There are a lot of dark areas and
we have found that the little ones get really scared. -
What days are you open?
The Fright Shack will be open every Friday and Saturday in October. -
What time is the Fright Shack open?
We open from 7:00 till 10:00 p.m. or till "last customer scared". If you are
working or some other reason you can not get here before 10:00, call us
@ 468-9900 to let us know you are coming and we will wait for you. -
Do you open if it is raining?
Yes, we make all attempts to run the haunted house, no matter what.
The haunt does have many outdoor and uncovered areas, though most
of our rooms are covered. If you want to be sure, call us at 229-468-9900
and our witch, ghost, and ghouls will advise. - Is the Fright Shack set up the same every year?
No, it is laid out differently every time we set it up. You may see some of the
same props, but in a different area, and we are always adding new things to it.
We don't want you to not be surprised as that would ruin it for you. - How long does it take us to go through your haunted house?
The least amount of time so far has been 10 minutes, (because of people
running through, which we don't recommend), and the longest has been
30 minutes. It will depend on whether you get lost or not or if someone knows
you and deters you for a while. It looks small, but you can not see all that is
set up from the front. It took about 15 - 30 minutes to go through the Fright Shack in 2009
and we anticipate a long journey this year since it will be our last. - How do I get to the Fright Shack ?
We are located 3-4 miles south of Ocilla, on Hwy 129 . You can't miss us.
We will have blow ups in the yard by the highway and the front of some of
the buildings will be lit up. We had some guests that were afraid to stop because
they thought we were having a party. Well Guess What!!! WE ARE!!! So come on
out and join us, that is if you're not too "scared" to.
